Profile, username and terms
What happens the first time a wallet connects, and what shows on your profile.
First connect
- Agree to the terms. Tick the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then sign. It is a free message: no gas, no transaction.
- Choose a username. 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores, unique ignoring case. Sign to save it.
Until both are done a wallet can read SpaceMint but cannot claim XP or badges. If the profile service is down, SpaceMint does not block you.
Changing things
- You can change your username once a week.
- If the terms change, the version changes and your wallet is asked to agree again.
- Disconnecting stops everything. Anything written to a blockchain cannot be deleted, so read the Privacy Policy.
Your profile
My profile shows your username, level, XP, rank and badges, plus your launches, holdings, trades and the fees you can collect.
