Getting started

Quickstart

Connect a wallet, launch a token and make your first trade.

1. Connect a wallet

Press Connect wallet in the header and pick a wallet. The first time a wallet connects, SpaceMint asks it to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and to choose a username. Both are free signatures: no gas, no transaction.

2. Get a little ETH

You need the chain's native asset for the launch fee and for gas. A launch costs 0.0005 ETH plus gas, so keep a small buffer on top. If you plan to buy your own token in the same session, bring that amount too.

3. Launch

  1. Open Launch. Type a name on the home page and it is filled in for you.
  2. Add a name, a symbol and, if you like, a description, an image and links.
  3. Pick what the token trades against and its starting market cap.
  4. Choose where the trading fee goes: Foundation or Creator payout.
  5. Optionally add a first buy, then press Launch and confirm in your wallet.

4. Trade

Every token has its own page at /t/<chain>/<token> with a chart, a trade panel, holders and comments. Buying and selling goes straight from your wallet into the Uniswap v4 pool. Pick a slippage tolerance, check the minimum you will receive and confirm.
